City of La Verne

The mayor and city council of the City of La Verne have pledged their efforts in making La Verne an inclusive, welcoming city for all individuals looking to lead a happy, healthy lifestyle. La Verne has long been a great place to live, work, play, grow a family, and retire. We are seeking to move our city forward, while at the same time maintain the beautiful aspects of our city that makes La Verne a truly great place to live. We engage all city departments to ensure services are fair, equitable, and delivered without identity-based bias, prejudice, discrimination, and retaliation.

One of the University of La Verne's core principles is diversity and inclusivity. Students, faculty, staff, and administration have access to a social justice reporting form where they can submit complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. The President and Chief Diversity and Inclusivity Officer of the University of La Verne are members of the committee and are devoted to ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space for all individuals on and around campus.
